You will need:
1 Spaghetti Squash
Ground Meat (Beef, Chicken or Turkey)
Onions chopped (Optional)
1 can of Tomato Sauce (no sugar)
1 can of Diced Tomatoes (no sugar)
Spices (Italian, Basil, Oregano, etc)
Olive Oil
Plus:
Cutting Board & Big Knife
Fork
Microwave
Pan
Bowl
Directions:
Place Spaghetti Squash in Microwave for 5 Minutes
Get ground meat ready by putting on stove, cook around Medium until meat is browned, then add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and spices. May take up to 8-10 minutes.
After Microwave finishes at 5 minutes remove squash with potholders (will be hot)
Place on cutting board and cut off the stem. On the cut side, place the squash vertical and cut down the middle. Use your fork to scoop out the middle and seeds. You may save the seeds for roasting later for fun or throw away. After the middle and seeds have been removed, add olive oil to inside of squash and coat the outside top as well. This will make it moist and easier to comb out the squash later. You may add spices over the olive oil as well if you'd like.
After you are finished with the olive oil on and around the top of the squash, add to a plate and put back in microwave for 10 minutes.
If your meat, tomatoes and sauce are all cooked, stir and turn off heat on stove.
Wait for Squash to be ready.
Remove the squash from the microwave after the 10 minutes. Use potholders as well because the plate and squash will be hot. Place on counter and use fork to comb all sides of the squash. Once you've combed both squashes well, pick each up and scoop into a big bowl. Throw the outside of the squash away after scooping out. Stir all squash in the big bowl and add additional spices if you'd like.
Get plates ready, scoop out noodles, then add meat and sauce!
